Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2026-05-11
istPositive is committed to being usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technology. This statement reflects current state, not aspirational claims.
What works
- Keyboard navigation through the analyser, language switcher, and sign-in flow.
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motionandprefers-reduced-transparency— aurora and frosted glass effects degrade gracefully. - Right-to-left layout for Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu.
- Semantic landmarks and live status updates during scanning.
- Magic-link sign-in (no password fields, no CAPTCHAs that block screen readers in the default flow).
Known limitations (TODO)
- Some glass-card text falls below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its translucent background in bright environments. Tracking a fix that increases the underlying card opacity at the AA threshold.
- Focus rings on custom buttons inherit the system default; we plan to add a higher-contrast custom ring keyed to the rose accent.
- Drag-and-drop on desktop has no keyboard equivalent advertised beyond the click-to-upload fallback. We will add explicit instructions to the empty state.
- The result-card animation has not yet been tested with VoiceOver on iOS 18 / Safari; reports welcome.
- We do not yet provide an offline / low-bandwidth mode; the analyser requires network access.
How to report a barrier
Email accessibility@istpositive.com with as much detail as you can share — the page, the assistive technology you use, and what you expected to happen. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and to propose a fix or a workaround in the same reply.
Compatibility
We test against current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and NVDA on Windows. Older browser versions may receive a degraded but functional experience.
